A tense pelvic floor can present in many different ways. Possible symptoms include pain in the lower back or lower abdomen, frequent urination, a feeling of pressure in the pelvis, discomfort in the genital area, or pain during sexual intercourse.

In my osteopathic work, I always consider the body as a whole. Alongside the pelvic floor, I also take the lumbar spine, sacrum, breathing, fascia, and surrounding connective tissue into account. The aim is to ease tension and support natural mobility in the pelvic region.
Where appropriate, intravaginal osteopathic techniques may also be used to address deeper layers of the pelvic floor musculature. These techniques are always performed gently, individually adapted, and only with your explicit consent.

In our osteopathy practice in Munich-Sendling, I support you in developing a better understanding of your symptoms and your body.
